PERMANENT RESIDENT PROGRAMS

Aimed at inducting and integrating new immigrants lastingly into the Canadian socio-economic fabric. The target aspirants are those that intend to reside permanently in Canada. The basic idea is that the existing Canadian society and the new immigrants mutually benefit from each other. These programs can be broadly classified into two :

Economic Classes

Non-economic Classes

Our focus is on the programs that fall under the Economic Classes.

Start up Visa

It is one of the three main categories of Canadian Immigration (the other two being Family / Non-economic Immigration and Refugees). Comprises of individuals who have the skills and aptitudes to assimilate themselves in the Canadian Economy.

The aspirants should be able to thrive in and contribute to Canada’s Economy by way of trades, services, skilled work, investment, business, etc. We work on the following major programs that fall under the Economic Class:

EXPRESS ENTRY

Express Entry is an electronic application management system, effective since 1st January 2015, to manage PR applications for meeting labour force demands through certain economic immigration programs.

This system is used to select, communicate with and manage a pool of skilled, eligible applicants.

Designed to enable quick immigration of skilled workers to Canada, with a high probability of succeeding economically, Express Entry is intended and designed to be prompt in its processing times, with 80% of applications processed in 6 months or less. Approximately every two weeks, the Canadian government conducts an Express Entry draw, inviting the qualifying Express Entry candidates to apply for Canadian permanent resident status.

In these draws, the federal government establishes a cut-off score, using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
All candidates with scores higher than the cut-off CRS score receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.

COMPREHENSIVE RANKING SYSTEM

The CRS is a points-based system used to evaluate and score an Express Entry profile and rank it in the pool. Following are some of the criteria for the said assessment:

  • Core Human Capital Factors
  • Skill Transferability Factors
  • Provincial Nominee Program
  • Qualifying offer of arranged employment
  • Canadian study experience
  • French language ability
  • Sibling in Canada

STUDY PERMIT

In order to study in Canada as an international student, a document called Study Permit is a mandatory requirement for most foreign nationals.

It enables a student to study at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada. It is not the same as visa. It is not a valid document for your entry into Canada.

Depending upon your unique situation, you may need a valid visa or an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization). With this fundamental understanding, proceed to check out each program we offer our services for.
